Thanks. I laughed like hell when I first saw this, too.
When I moved to Dayton, years ago, I stayed at a boarding house for the first couple weeks. First night there, someone decided to break into all of the vehicles in the parking lot. The amount of damage to the other vehicles was crazy, as they busted out the locks to get into them. I never keep anything of real value in my vehicles, so I left the doors unlocked. The thieves opened my door without damage because of that, ransacked the front seat and didn't even bother grabbing the 78¢ in loose change that was in there. The couple in the next room had several hundred dollars in damage done to their newly purchased Neon, as well as her purse stolen and a few other valuable items. They reasoned that I didn't lock my doors because I didn't have anything worth stealing, and the amount of cash was so small, they just left it.
