I was genuinely rooting for Flick on this, after things seemed to be normal again. | Hey, guys. Now, you're probably wondering "Swampy! You said Flick wouldn't be banned anymore! Why did you betray him?" It's because of a certain thing that happened today. Earlier, Flick posted a StoneToss comic (I don't like StoneToss, but he has been posted before, and Flick wasn't sharing the bigoted comics, so I wasn't gonna make a big deal out of it.) with the title "my favorite nazi... stonetoss."; All I did was add a small mod note to Flick's post saying to not make those kind of titles if he's going to post StoneToss. The next thing I knew, he changed it to "my favorite nazi, swampytheswampmonster."; Over a small note I gave him. And, of course, the FIRST thing he says in a desperate attempt to do damage control, he says it was only a "jOkE". Now, before anyone gets mad at me for this, Flick and I had a long conversation, and I understand that he has ADHD and OCD. This does not, however, excuse his actions. I'm truly sorry to those who wanted Flick to stay unbanned. I really am. It's just that I gave him a bunch of opportunities to change, only for him to not do so. I really believe that unbanning him again would only reinforce this cycle. I'm being serious when I say that I wish Flick the best and hope he gets the help he needs. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Thank you all so much for expressing your takes on what should be done regarding my situation with Flick and Shinobii. I asked everyone whether they should stay banned or if they should be let back into the stream, and a majority of you guys said "Let them stay". Very well! Looking back at some of my actions in the fight, I now understand that I was no better in the situation. So I want to apologize to the following people:; - Flick, for fighting with you over your religion and your political views, banning you too many times, and trying to keep you away. - Shinobii, for banning you when you barely had any connection to the fight. I was just scared you were going to harass me further if I let things slide. - Iceu, for mod abusing, if I really was doing that. I didn't mean any harm to the twins, but I know I could've done better and should've. Once again, thank you guys for expressing your thoughts. I took the time to read all of them, and clearly most of you want Flick and Shinobii to return. For those who commented that they want them to be banned for good, I promise you that Flick and I are on better terms now. There will also be a new rule added: No bigotry. This means that any kind of hatred (homophobia, racism, ableism, etc.) will not be tolerated in the stream. No matter your beliefs, it should be common sense for us to treat each other with dignity and respect. Like I said, I'm very sorry for all the hurt I caused. Going into 2026, I promise to be more careful and nuanced when moderating the sub. Flick and Shinobii, you will always be welcome to the stream for as long as you're on the website.
