HOW TO GET MORE UPVOTES | I don't often give meme advice, but when I do, treat it like; " nuggets of gold " . Don't expect many upvotes with
your own images . If at all possible, use one of the "popular" templates near the beginning of the "all templates" list . That's why you see the same templates used so much . People look through "other captions for this meme" and upvote them. That won't happen with your own image . If you "Add image" to ANY template, Imgflip no longer considers it that template and it won't go in "other captions" . No matter how good an image matches your text, in practice each template has an associated "standard" theme, e.g., "Bad Luck Brian", "Overly Attached Girlfriend". If YOUR meme isn't related, a common reaction is "Ugh! That's not the theme !"; To improve legibility , use TWO spaces between words, one BEFORE commas and periods .
