hg | lore for the first canonical kaiju fighting mech in Kaiju Kaos (my own little kaiju story, read description):; When the first kaiju attacked on the last second of 1999, humanity was first powerless against them. Nothing the military threw at them would even scratch them. Until 2002, where humanity made contact with an advanced extraterrestrial species who have technology more advanced than ours; the gaseous Uranians. Both Aliens and Humanity traded resources. Soon after, humanity found the corpse of a humanoid Kaiju and took it in to study it. The Uranians gifted man their technology and power sources in 2004 after they and Humanity trusted each other. Once their technology was gifted to man, the Uranians vanished completely. And with the new technology, in 2009, man created the first Kaiju Defense Unit: The Prototype; a hybrid of Kaiju and Machine. The Prototype was first deployed in Texas to fend off Uno. Prototype made quick work of the kaiju. In 2011, the Soul of the Void appeared. The Prototype was deployed soon after the Soul arrived, but the mech was completely outmatched. Tearing off two of the Prototype's limbs, the Soul threw the Prototype to die in a mountain cave. The Prototype slowly powered down in the dark as the Soul of the Void continued its rampage, alone with its thoughts and the occasional animal who entered the cave. It was hopeless in curing its solitude. Plants, moss and fungi collected on it until 2023, when it was rediscovered. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
