Yes. I've often seen people in group settings (churches, for example) share their excitement over an unborn child by surrounding the mother to be. Everyone around her appears to be talking at once, lots of overlap, questions about the baby. Some might touch her without seeking consent, others will ask permission, but they're just all over her and overwhelmingly excited.
As an adoptee, adopted at birth, this is horrifying to me because the space around a child's "first home" (the womb) is being invaded, potentially without consent of the mother. Such space ✨ should ✨ imho be considered sacred in a calmer, almost more reverential (not in a religious sense) manner. It's physically difficult to not rush over and try to protect the expectant mother from the other people. This is a feeling that I've had for as long as I can remember.
