FYI: I am a pro-Trump conservative, but this mistake/blunder by Secretary Hegseth undermines his message of God's protection of our troops and his vengeance against evil regimes like Iran. I decided not to spare Hegseth of criticism from the right because, as a leading Christian figure, he should be more careful when it comes to quoting Scripture, especially matters relevant to war. Liberals will get their laugh regardless, but he should hear from at least those (few?) on the right that are troubled by this gaffe..
The pastor -- Rebecca Todd Peters -- stated at the time of her "loving kindness" sermon that she had had four pregnancies, two of which ended in abortion and two that resulted in "amazing children." She said, "Each of my reproductive decisions -- to have children and not to have children -- were sacred decisions." What made the four decisions "sacred" when the results were opposite? The power of rationalization has no limits.
