never once uttered the word Utopia. Who is putting words into someone else's mouth now? I am saying that this idea that the whole world is a bunch of countries defined by borders is a new idea, primarily driven by colonization. What were the countries and borders in Africa and the Middle East prior to European colonization? Sure there was Ethiopia in Africa but that was it. Forcing borders on countries that haven't come to that conclusion on their own contributes in making dictatorships and anarchy..
so again your argument is only applicable to the US, not globally. I agree that borders are needed at this point in time in the US and several other countries. However, just because they are needed in the US does not mean they are needed everywhere
Who had borders? The people that I have said? Many did not and often times the areas in which people lived often overlapped. Borders have not always existed. Borders are a form of organization and I do not deny their usefulness for Western societies. Forcing the idea of borders on those that haven't used them before leads to chaos. Iraq, Nigeria, Syria, Sudan, Bangladesh, Kashmir, previously Cambodia... shall I continue?
