I don't know what you're talking about. You can air south park from the hours of 10 pm to 6 am. I think Kimmel statements were wrong. We've got to stop as a country destroying a viewpoint just because a murderer had it I don't think in his time slot he's not necessarily allowed to say crass things you can get away with a decent amount but I don't know the difference between cable at 10 pm and network at 10 pm
I agree but personally I think political violence doesn't advance a cause in America. What it does is it makes everyone hate everything that person stood for and all they represent. That behind closed doors is why I think he could have been trying to frame someone. But I don't know Kimmel viewpoint. I think it's a little ridiculous that we have to destroy a viewpoint everytime a killer has it. It's getting to the point where framing someone could be a legitimate motive. It's getting hard to believe that anyone in America would support political violence
See this is not true it was stupid for me to post. This is absolutely not true. When the FCC censors speech it's not ratings that cause it. What Kimmel said is that charlie kirks killer was conservative. He was not censored. He was shot. He came from a red county in a red state he was one of you. Personally I did think it was possible that the killer could have been trying to frame someone just because we don't reward political violence in this country. Were disgusted by that person and all they represent. The FCC chair called the comments disgusting and called for swift action which caused all television networks to pull the show temporarily. But no this is not a case of a statement being unpopular and the network pulling it. The pulling of the show wasn't justified. But still we should be trying to come together as a country and denounce political violence hatred and now censorship. Honesty is the only way to move forward as a country
look charlie kirk payed the ultimate price. he was censored. being killed is worse than being censored. but hell never get to have those discussions which is very sad. and at a time where censorship is increasing in most places around the world. o reily constantly says things that would get him taken off the air if he was on network. but we would never think about taking him off the air.
all kimmel said was pointlessly that the killer was conservative. political violence doesnt make sense. political violence makes someone despised in america. in any case this is a good time to discuss ending political violence and ending censorship.
basically the first amendment doesn't allow the government to censor speech except in rare circumstances which is not what kimmel said. we all say hateful speech. hate speech and hateful speech are not the same thing. I think kimmel was sick of walking on his tiptoes over the climate in america over all the assassinations weve had. trump is ruining the country. but you also need to be respectful to charlie kirk who is no longer be able to convince the world what he believes.
there may be a reason to fine kimmel. but his speech shouldnt be censored. a lot of us wondered how anyone could think political violence would be supported by anyone. it makes absolutely no sense to me.
look what happened to kimmel shouldnt have happened. when he feels hate he feels it honestly just like the right. the idea that political violence could achieve any kind of goal in america. when political violence makes us despise anyone who commits it is unbelievable.
it must be some kind of dream. which makes me think the shooter was trying to frame somebody. but I just didn't want to say anything because the discussion were having right now is stopping poltiical violence which I thought was an important discussion and also stopping censorship.
