Seems like yesterday
But it was long ago
The world seemed lovely, it was beautiful in my sight
Now i sse the darkness with the radio playin low
There are secrets the world wont share, mountains that could be moved
There are wildfires out of control

And I remember what Jesus said to me
How He told me the horror of how sin would end

Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then

And I found myself alone
Surrounded by strangers I thought were my friends
Found myself further and further from my home and I
Guess we dont see things the same way
We've been down so many roads
I was livin to run and runnin to live
Never worried about prayin or even how much sin I owed
Movin' eight miles a minute and for months at a time
Breakin all of the rules that would bend
I began to find myself searchin
Searchin for Jesus again and again
Now i live for the Word!
Love spending my time.. in the Word!
I found myself seekin Jesus.. in the Word
Well those dark days are past me now
I've got so much more to think about
