I listened to the nice, they do a cover of one of my favorite jazz tunes, blue rondo ala turk. The original is by dave brubeck who is one of my favorite jazz artist because of his use of odd time signitures. I also like return to forever, mahavishnu orchistra and jean luc ponte. For newer prog i suggest porcupine tree/steven wilson, plini, AAL, sythu aye, wydek and tesaract.
I love old school prog rock as well. I listen to king crimson, yes, pink floyd, ELP, jethro tull, rush, gentle giant, camel, genesis iv never listen to the nice though.
I love M.C Escher and pineapple on pizza...The guy holding the necker cube looks like he has a great revelation he wants to share but does not know how.
