besides evangelion made more money than shitmetsu and was released only in japan.
Talk when shitmetsu can compete with the big boys like boku no hero,dragon ball,evangelion,detective conan.
besides we talked about sentimental stuff that grasped your heart,sadly no one wants a weak MC crying for a demon that killed hundreds or thousands or use cheap manipulation tricks like shitmetsu.
Recognizing good anime
.- Gets BR release a few days or weeks after the anime release not only that get collabo,games,poster,figures,tankoubon gets republished (examples boku no hero,dragon ball,youjo senki,edens zero)
Recognizing bad anime
.- Somehow the numbers indicate is good,tankoubon unreleased for over a year,no BR release of anime after 2 years,no figures,videogames delayed over and over,movie is claimed to be succesfull but not released on bluray and there isn't even camrips,no collabos (example kimetsu no yaiba,jujutsu kaisen)

it would have been better with the song of lilly from zombieland saga,something from evangelion,something from lain or any other.

you forgot to memtion that's only valid if we are talking of anime from the golden age (pre 2005),now most anime are just pretencious garbage and the only good ones are reminicent of the golden age like youjo senki,boku no hero,edens zero,saint seiya omega,no game no life,fairy tail,zombieland saga.

it can be otherwise as well an extremelly popular anime that was so bad not even hardcore otakus had the stomach to view the full series and most normal viewers dropped the series before it finishex
