So you mean to tell me that a large number of people… would change their entire identity, self-expression, even biological sex sometimes… go through all that… receive at least twice as much discrimination as acceptance… all for “attention”. You seriously feel that the cause for more people identifying as trans/non-binary is more likely that than people becoming less afraid to be who they are and coming out as we slowly progress as a society?

It’s not simply a “feeling”, it’s their damn identity and you can’t just have a supremacy, a moral high ground of your FEELING that you know someone better than yourself. And by the way, what a “fact” is here is completely subjective and not for you to judge at the subject’s expense.

First of all, what a “fact” is, is completely subjective. Second, your “feeling” is that you can discount who they are because you’re afraid of a minority group being accepted. Just because you can’t relate, doesn’t mean their identity is false. The world does not revolve around you.
