I would suggest maybe writing the difference down and showing it to them. If they still don’t understand, just try your hardest to explain that it this is who you are, and you are queer, but a specific kind. Tell them that you want to be labeled , and you’ve picked a label out already.
If I’m being honest I have barely any knowledge on furries (especially protogens), but I think they’re cool and this is gonna help me out if I ever wanna draw a protogen again.
