I mean, as someone on the spectrum, we are missing some key skills. It is harder for us to communicate, we lack certain social skills, and chief of all, we lack the ability to think, process and communicate like normal people.
I get and understand the criticism, but I also have to give props to the creators. The puzzle piece also represents how we logically piece things together, instead of immediately processing what someone says. We have to go through steps, even when hearing an aphorism.
I prefer the golden infinity sign, but I don't think that the rainbow sign or puzzle pieces are bad either.
