Actually I believe multiple Gods are mentioned, even a Hebrew female deity who was symbolised by a tree (very common symbol, I know, but I don’t know too much). Then there was that commandment about false idols and they started throwing dirt at other religion’s gods mentioned at covering up the existence of the female deity. I see, but God just referred to the ultimate being featuring in king jame’s scripture. I don’t pretend to be some knowledgeable scholar. The idea of “attuning one’s life to God’s will” (heraklit) sort of features when I say that He’s learnt everything about life, basically God is all-knowing and we just need to attune ourselves to Him. Still, it’s just a weird, mind-boggling one-liner explaining away the ultimate deity of “God” featuring in Christian scripture in a way that confuses and repulses people… or makes them laugh. I cant decide which.
