I think the exact same thing about the pacers, however bouncy or uncomfortable they may have been, they still had alot of character. I would say even as much character as maybe even a shed, (class 66), just because of how iconic they were.

I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did! People were wanting them gone, but when they were actually getting rid of them, people changed their mind. Just goes to show that some people don't care about something until it's taken away from them.

No, that's just a class 68, but I can see the similarities between the two though. Won't be seeing too many more of them anyways because they are being withdrawn after only 4 years in service due to noise complaints.
