I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did! People were wanting them gone, but when they were actually getting rid of them, people changed their mind. Just goes to show that some people don't care about something until it's taken away from them.
yes, the Pacers were just so cheap that it was very economical to operate them on low traffic routes. What are your thoughts on the Pacers, I think there kinda crap, but they still did there job
I think the exact same thing about the pacers, however bouncy or uncomfortable they may have been, they still had alot of character. I would say even as much character as maybe even a shed, (class 66), just because of how iconic they were.
yeah, I mean I do also like the sheds, in fact I call the sheds "The SD40-2's of Britan" which makes sense since the Class 66 is derived from the Class 59 which is based of the EMD SD40-2
