I know I said I was on hiatus on my bio, but this past week, I've been thinking about it, and I have made the decision to officially retire from Imgflip. Their were many factors of this decision, but the main reasons is 1. Focusing in College, which I started last week Tuesday, 2. Mental Health reasons and 3. Trying to have a lesser presence on the internet as nowadays, the internet is just a lousy place. To further go with the latter about me having a lesser presence online, I recently retired from Scratch the day before classes started (Scratch username is superrodney64 in case anyone on here uses Scratch). Before the internet used to be a cool place where you can watch videos, play games, and a lot more. But now, while you can do still do that stuff, it's mainly just AI slop on every corner and people pointing fingers at each other for stupid reasons, not to mention, dramas. Also, as mentioned before, I have been losing interest on Imgflip these past few months, mainly because, dare I say it, it's boring. Like all you do is post a meme or GIF, comment on it, upvote or downvote it, and that's it, that's all to it. One more thing, back in April, someone said to me that I need to get out more, and the truth is... their right, I need to get out in the world more. I really don't have anything else to say, except this, don't say I didn't warn you about me leaving Imgflip before the end of 2027, because in this meme right here: imgflip.com/i/b0h4pv
I warned that I there would be a good chance that I won't return to Imgflip after my internet hiatus, and lone and behold, it has happened. I am officially writing a farewell comment. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has stayed with me throughout the last year and a half, but now, it's time for me to move on. A possible return to Imgflip is not off the table, but right now, this will be my last hurrah...
Honestly, it's the truth. That's how I really feel about this website at the moment. When I joined on February 15th of last year, I was having fun. But now, that faded away. There's a number of reasons as to why that is, but, let me just be real here, nowadays, I think that Imgflip is, dare I say, boring. Like all you do here is post a meme or GIF, comment on other people's memes, upvote or downvote them, and that's it, that's literally all you do here. On top of that, I'm getting older and I have a crap load of stuff coming up. On Tuesday, I'm starting college and I already applied to 7 internships for next summer, and I've also expressed interest in getting an actual job by next fall. Before, I used to think that Imgflip was a cool place when I first joined last year, but that quickly faded. It's even come to the point where I'm considering retiring from Imgflip by late next year, possibly sooner. Speaking of which, I think it's appropriate to mention this, starting Tuesday, I'll be taking a break from the internet for one month, which includes this site, not only to focus on school, but my mental health too, as the internet can be (and is) a very cruel and overwhelming place. Theirs's even a good chance that once I'm done with my internet hiatus that I might not return to Imgflip. That's currently not the plan, and anything can happen in a month, but if that happens, don't say I didn't warn you. I really have nothing else to say but this...if, for some reason I'm still on Imgflip in 2028, it'll be a miracle.

Let me say something to Nets Fans...Y'all think y'all are New York's Team? WRONG! Y'all only moved here because of Jay-Z since he was a Nets fan, and what have moving to Brooklyn done for y'all, NOTHING. Yeah sure, y'all had guys like Kyrie and KD, but take a moment to count how many rings y'all won. Here, let me do it for you...oh wait, y'all didn't win one. That's what y'all get for rushing to build a superteam, meanwhile we did it the proper way. Rather than rushing to get every superstar possible like ya jombronis did, we built a championship team the proper way. We signed nobodies and turned them into All-Stars. Just take a look at our captain. When he was on Dallas, no body knew him, but after he signed with the Orange and Blue, he became the King of New York, he became our captain, he even led us to a championship. Same thing with KAT. Heck, we even took one of your guys and he seemed to be much happier with us rather than being on a fake New York team. Yeah, that's right, y'all are a fake New York team. In other words, GO BACK TO JERSEY!
