Today is a day where people will get to mend their mistakes and right the wrongs of their past.
The birds will sing, and the animals will play and frolic in valleys.
Today is wonderful, but tomorrow something more beautiful, more spectacular, more grandiose than anything that's ever happened before.
Tomorrow is the auction that will determine every single person's fate for the rest of time, if you believe in that sort of thing.
And today, the air is sweet in Ferdinand Mendozas nose, and the wine in his mouth is better. He knows that tomorrow, his enemies will crumble before him and vengeance will be his. It fills him with joy.
The preparations are almost complete for the next few days, but certainty is key, and so he calls a meeting with his closest associates:

-hates Henry (protagonist) and Silvano (Ferdinands brother) for getting his father killed. He'd use the artifact to get rid of them and eliminate his competition
-he can control water and moisture in all its.forms

-shes related to a different character (only she knows who)
-she doesn't have a concrete identity or goal for herself besides her own vengeance, and thus always ends up following others and embracing her ideals
-this is reflected in her ability to create an ability that is a direct Inverse to her opponents

-The quiet type, dislikes expressing himself and his emotions since it makes him feel weak
-He uses a pocket watch to halt his souls "flow." The flow builds up and up until he presses the button to release it again, at which time he becomes a different beast entirely. When his flow is stopped however, he becomes as defenseless as a normal personm

James Shefton
-a skilled biologist/surgeon who performs incredibly unethical experiments on humans, attempting to create something that God himself would come.down to smite him for
-he has no superhuman abilities
Awesome! Real quick though before we start, do you think they'd identify with the bad guys (coming to take the artifact for themselves) the slightly less bad guys (organizing the auction in order to take it for themselves) or the good guys (trying to take the artifact so nobody uses it)
