That was actually a great description of atheism.

No.. Believing blindly is saying that the universe just created itself and sticking to that for some reason.

This is exactly why I stopped getting into religious arguments with atheists on iFunny. They get to angry and stubborn. I love listening to Atheist arguments because I am pretty open to new ideas and I love listening to see if there is anything that could convice me otherwise. But for some reason, when I try to debate Christianity with atheists, they don't want to hear it. That's why I propose atheism is for the lazy. It's for the people who just want to say "Screw it. I don't want to have to believe in anything and I don't want to commit my life." It's like giving up. Let's just face it. No atheist can successfully explain to me how the universe was created. So far, I have not heard a single argument that explains how the universe was created without God. So a singularity was in the beginning and then that singularity started to expand creating the known fundamental forces in the universe and then it rapidly expanded into the universe. I asked once a teacher where the singularity came from and he said he didn't know. Nobody knows how the singularity got there or why it started to expand. One person told me that quantum fluctuations caused it to expand and currently we have deviced that allow us to replicate that. A few atheists have said "It is completely possible for the universe to create itself because we have replicated the creation before proving that it is possible." You know what doesn't make sense though? We have replicated the Big Bang before but the replication required people to make the whole thing and set it up. That means that someone would have to be there in the beginning to make the universe i.e. God.

The way I see our religion is based on is quite simple. A long time ago, a few dudes were picked by God to deliver his message and they wrote books and now we have those books to live by. Here's an interesting fact: The writings of Plato are older than the books in the Bible however, Plato's writings are taught in schools and accepted as true. So Plato's writings are older yet we still can't accept the Bible as a valid source of history. Forget about religion for a second, the Bible is two things: History and religion. It gives religions it's basis but it also provides a historical account. It is one thing to say that you aren't Christian, it's another thing to say that the events in the Bible never happened. You did say you won the argument though...

Oh and by the way, I'm not arguing with you. I am totally siding with Prof. Kapanuckle.

Yes, because the sun will "blow up." You're really making me laugh over here.
