excuse me but i would just like to point out that taking down statues is not solving anything! you cannot change history simply by taking down statues of historical figures! we continue to honor them because it is our heritage, a sign of civil conflict that shook our nation down to its core and changed our nation forever! Why would you want to destroy history? The statues are there to remind people of the honored dead who fought in that war to fight for their own political ideas and if they are confederate statues, so what? its all just simple ideas and ideology! we don't have to tear this great nation apart over one hunk of granite!
