Time will tell mate, but I call myself a Christian because I know what I believe about Jesus is true, and I also know that the ways he intended for us to live are good as well. As for point 10, I probably know the Bible more than most Atheists because I read from start to finish perpetually, and I also have the Holy Spirit to help me understand the context of what I'm reading which the Atheists don't have.
AquilusDomini, if you think socialism is just about community matters, I'd have no problems with that. Unfortunately, like the term fundamentalist in regards to extreme conservatism, "socialist" has been hijacked to equate with radical groups that attack traditional Christian values which have kept
society stable for centuries, and they are not necessarily polite or law abiding when it comes to confronting groups of the conservative nature, well definitely not in my country anyway. Are conservatives trying to be assholes and hurtful? No! We know that the consequences of what you want will do you a lot of physical and psychological harm in the long run while you're being deceived into thinking it's about love, tolerance and freedom. The irony of it is, in regards to what inspired this meme, the protestors that did everything it could to stop a World Family Congress from happening but failed, the lefty biased media made them look like a bunch of assholes as they, in your own words, tried to treat the Congress attendees how you thought they should be treated.
