The point is that fetuses are just that, fetuses. They aren't alive yet. They can't survive outside the womb. And what about the mother? If you knew you would die if you had the child, what about your own life? Also, yay you've got a child you have no idea how to care for because you didn't want to have a child. But you didn't get an abortion. What if you got raped and now you are a 14-year-old girl who is in high school, but now has to care for a baby? Now you have to buy food, supplies, and devote your time to this baby you didn't want. You have to breastfeed your baby and take on a huge responsibility. I personally wouldn't get an abortion, but every person should be able to choose if they want to be pregnant and care for a kid.
Huh. The reason for keeping a law shouldn't be that people will still find a way to do it, it should be that you think that that thing would help others.
I don't agree with the first tile. The abortions would be unsafe, probably unsanitary, and downright dangerous. Having legal abortion makes that difference.
But is freedom of speech freedom of consequence? Nope. People can say whatever they want, but that doesn't give you a pass on the consequences of your words.
