Again anime is not an animation style because different animes have different styles some vastly different then others. You could say your drawing in an, for example Death Nore style and that would be fine but anime since it's a category of different shows of different styles wouldnt necessaryly work. It would be like saying 'I'm going to draw in adventure style'. But I degrees. Sorry people saying that kinda ticks me the wrong way you know. I have no clue why.
I think someone in nickelodeon thought anime was short for animation. I thought that too for the longest time. But honestly I don't really know why it's classified as one under nickelodeon. I, admittedly call it an anime most of the time as well because calling it a cartoon doesn't sound right, but by definition it is not one
