I don't think Democrats angled this correctly. It's true, many didn't know him, but MANY young people, young VOTERS did. Democrats are OLD from their leadership down. And their alleged "rising stars" don't resonate with young voters. Charlie was 31. He was bright and articulate. He listened and spoke to people vs lecturing them. Jimmy Kimmel on the other hand, was a sexist pig, who wore blackface and indulged in sophomoric offensive behavior on his shows and believed he was untouchable and had zero accountability.
