Unfortunately, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Not every "alternative" history is documented in writing. Sometimes, you just got to take a man's word(s) that are passed down from generation to generation. Events like the 9/11 attacks would be in that word of mouth scenario, because "They (most likely the government)" want to censor and delete all of written records, especially get rid of it here on the internet. So....yeah.
