Health restrictions = a police state? Naw, health restrictions = a healthier country, = increased safety, especially for the most vulnerable. I’d say a police state is more like China, where you can’t insult the leader for fear of retribution. And we see that Trump goes after those who have insulted him (Comey writing he wanted to “86” Trump, and the woman whom Trump sexually assaulted just…existing…or, I guess, having the gall to not, what, win the Nobel Peace Prize and give it to him out of fear?) I think both sides are hugely corrupt, but I’m not gonna be willfully ignorant about it and pretend I can’t see a bully working to become as close as he can to a dictator.
