You are assuming that there actually is a plural identity without dissociation when the evidence says not... maladaptive daydreamers with inner characters or some other identity confusion is in no way similar to dissociative disorders... "plural" is a term originating in DID (then MPD), and should not have been co-opted by people who don't have DID/OSDD... the concept of another type of plural/multiple experience would go against all the understanding of the trauma/dissociation model and of child psychological development... that's over 200 years worth of research showing that nobody develops DID or anything similar without early and repeated trauma... pushing the "plurality" movement is deeply offensive.
