Identifying as LGBTQIAP+ is different from actually being LGBTQIAP+. Identifying with a label is different from actually having an identity associated with that label. LGBTQIAP+ characters are made for representation of LGBTQIAP+ people, just like neurodiverse characters are made for representation of neurodiverse people, plural characters are made for representation of plural people, disabled characters are made for representation of disabled people, and so on.
People's representation is the context. By saying "i actually mostly dislike lgbtq people in this context", it almost seems as if you dislike representation of LGBTQIAP+ people.
There's a big difference. Humanity is a quality of being good and caring for the environment. Many people are not. Being responsible for the planet is what makes us human because it is our only home.
