Instead of saying:

"It's horrible that an innocent black man was killed, but destroying property has to stop"

let's say:

"It's horrible that property is being destroyed, but killing innocent black men has to stop."

Both are obviously bad. But let's prioritize black lives over property.

Funny I'm the one being "pissy" when you're the one coming onto my post, using condescending terms like "boy, kid and son." How old are you dude? If you're going call me out and accuse me of making "such bold and inaccurate claims," then you shouldn't make such bold and inaccurate claims in your attempt at doing so... and then blatantly ignore it when I call you out for it.

You say you want to have a "serious discussion" but all this has turned into is a pissing game of 'gotcha' and correcting grammar/autocorrect/typos all so you can say "look how how stupid you are and how smart I am!" Who's really the child in this case? "Serious conversation"? Give me a break, dude.

I keep ignoring your "black on black" killing statistic because it is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. This meme and topic is about racism. If you want to talk about socioeconomics, then we can talk about all the "black on black crime" you love to bring up (albeit the Right only likes to bring it up when the issue of racism comes to the forefront. Not an issue they actually care about). But it has literally nothing to do with police brutality and systematic racism. Just because Problem A may be worse than Problem B doesn't mean we should just ignore Problem B all together. Groups that raise awareness for breast cancer aren't evil because they are ignoring heart disease, which causes more deaths.

I believe that despite race being less of a factor than it was 50 years ago, it still remains one today. Even if your words are true in that racism "barely wields any power," I believe that would still be too much in 2020. I don't like seeing riots in the streets across America, but I believe it was the Right's attitude and reaction to the kneeling during the anthem that has created a need for it and was the root cause of it. You're all for peaceful protest as long as it is done out of your site, which defeats the purpose of a protest. But at the same time you support the lockdown protests when instead they could be protesting by sharing a facebook post, while keeping others safe.

Look dude, we're obviously not going to agree on this. I believe that we still have a ways to go for racial equality and that belief is shared by half the country. The fact is this issue will never go away and these people will not go away until there is systematic change, and that is something you will have to accept, just as I will have to accept that empathy is not a characteristic shared by all humans.

Relax, dude. 3.6%, not 36%. I left out the decimal, honest mistake. Still a staggering number. Nice catch though! While we're at it, since you CLEARLY understand numbers and data analyses better than I do, perhaps it was just a slight oversight to take my 29% and make it 23% by assuming that "unknown race" means non-black. Since "unknown" is given no explanation as to why it is unknown, you cannot assume anything about that set of data. I chose to omit it but since you want to include it, the correct number lies anywhere between 23 and 43%. Look at that, even someone who knows everything can be wrong once. Do you spend this much time fact checking Trump's outlandish claims? You could make a career out of it!

"Black men not being men... has something to do with it"... Yeah totally not racist. Also assuming I must be black and brainwashed because I speak out against racial injustice... yeah doesn't pass the smell test.
