I've seen some professionals actually continue instead of acting like they're about to die at times, but in those cases, the referees mostly ignored the plays even if the replays clearly showed that they got hacked down. Officials make decisions based on the outcomes of plays, not the incidents themselves. It has been proved from time to time that accidentally stepping on an opponent while dribbling is a worse offence than deliberately elbowing an opposition player who doesn't roll around afterwards.
I'm far from being her fan (I'm a fan of Paranoid Android (the Radiohead song)), but I don't understand what underrated and overrated means (not the actual definitions, but how the words are used in everyday context). I've seen some of the top of the top (in terms of fame, not abilities) celebrities (I don't even bother remembering who they are) called underrated ffs. I'd like to see the word 'overhyped' here more, and Taylor Swift is certainly overhyped.
