Not the same thing but one of my friends showed a few of my other friends this romance film (can’t remember the name of it now) and she wanted to watch all three that day. All of us however, are massive nerds and got very bored, so we ended up watching LOTR after instead.
Honestly I’m so sick of all the “tastes just like meat” stuff. If I wanted to eat meat, I wouldn’t have become vegetarian. Companies need to stop this stupid thing of making it out that their products are “like meat but good for you and the environment” because it’s ridiculous.
1. They taste nothing like meat, and they aren’t ever going to
2. It’s still a processed food and health-wise you’d be better off with a fresh chicken breast
3. In order to make “meat substitutes” they take up ridiculous amounts of land with one crop.
I’m not saying that I think the meat industry is better, nor am I saying that the meat substitute industry is better. I think both of them are equally harmful in their own current forms, and I have many of the same concerns about both of them. From all sane vegans and vegetarians: give us some, you know, vegetables, and get on with your life.
Sorry, you probably didn’t want a vegetarian ranting in your comments but these advertisements annoy me no end.
It drives me nuts when my cousin wants to watch peppa pig but Bluey I can deal with. In my opinion it has better messages to children about how to treat others and doesn’t talk down to them.
Speaking globally here, the latter is far more concerning. Australia has always been burning up, it’s basically what it does, however in New York it is a new experience and indicates that something else is going on to cause it.
