[1 of 2] Bible prophecy talks about the age of apostasy that will come in the last days of the Church Age that we are living through right now. Knowing this, I used to think our problem stemmed mostly from pastors deleting the third of Scripture that covers Bible prophecy. But our in-depth study of Wicca witchcraft has helped me to understand that the issue is way beyond that! Of the two thirds remaining after stripping God's Word of its reassuring prophecy, preachers today are also shying away from biblical subjects like witchcraft, other occult practices, hell, sin, wrath, and spiritual warfare. The excuse seems to be that those areas, which involve real entities like the devil and demons, might scare people. That basically leaves pastors with Scripture’s table of weights and measures, leading them to some supposed sign from God that Christians are destined to be financially-successful. Do you see how pastors can be led to whip out dumb sermons like that because it's all they have left? Folks, our extensive study of the occult has opened my eyes to the fact that today’s situation in the Church is worse than what I ever thought. Here are some of her “visions”: Jesus was not the oldest son of the VIRGIN Mary, we supposedly CANNOT be assured of salvation, Jesus did not finish His atoning work on the cross, Jesus was not God, some races of today’s people come from sexual relations between man and animals, the Tower of Babel came before the flood, and God gave the angels gold cards to get in and out of heaven [because He's apparently able to number the hairs on all our heads, but can’t keep track of His angels.] Ellen G White was a known plagiarist with up to 90% of some writings copied; all while she professed that her writings came from God. But, of course, God does not plagiarize. Does that sound like biblical Christianity? No. And it’s not just missing the Bible’s mark in a couple areas. It's a multitude of their beliefs. We’ve just touched on a few and anyone who does the homework on SDA will conclude that (like Jehovah’s Witnesses)

The rest all have a list of demands from their leaders, telling the followers all the WORKS needed to supposedly attain heaven for themselves. Contrary to that, the biblical truth is that there is only one Mediator between man and God who is Jesus Christ. We are able to go straight to Him, avoiding any of man’s rituals, because all the work has already been DONE FOR US. And it costs us nothing except to humble ourselves, admitting we need a savior. In Hebrews, John says, as Christians we have the freedom to go directly to God and do so with boldness, always finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn't that mindblowing!? Even today, when I read that it feels like the words are coming off the pages, just as John seemed to have his mind blown by that realization. John is amazed at the thought that we are actually CHILDREN OF GOD.
