[4 of 5] DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE FUTURE? All this Bible prophecy taking place in front of our eyes is better than Christmas! With all due respect, it's even better than a wedding; although my marriage is strong so don't misconstrue what I'm saying. My point is this: In a healthy marriage scenario, you would think the closer you get to the wedding day, the more exciting it gets, right? Now I know it's also stressful and it can get stressful before Jesus comes back too, but still the overall feeling is one of joyous anticipation, right? Without giving away the day or hour, and using Bible prophecy, God is letting us know what will happen in advance so we can be sure His book came from Him--period. It’s like this: When you were growing up, did your mom tell you things more than once, or even more than ten times? In fact, how many times did she say, "I told you a million times..." and you were maybe thinking, "Yeah mom, you probably did because, man, here we go again." Well, it’s the same with God. Throughout the Bible, with precise predictions (2000 of which have come true already), 2500 times He told us, “THIS BOOK CAME FROM ME!" So why do we want to listen to anything else! God's probably thinking, "What more do I have to give you people?" But again, with all due respect to the so-called shepherds in our Church today, if they keep Bible prophecy out of your messages, it's no wonder 50% of their congregation doubts the Bible. If we'd only listen to the Bible it would save us from a whole lot of trouble, which includes those not saved being left behind to go through the Seven Year Tribulation! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT DOES "NAMASTE" MEAN & SHOULD CHRISTIANS SAY IT? Here's a good explanation: "The word namaste, pronounced 'NUHM-uh-stay,' is a common Hindu/Indian greeting often used in conjunction with a small bow and with the palms of one's hands placed together, fingers up, in front of the chest... With some aspects of the Hindu/Indian culture becoming increasingly popular in other parts of the world, yoga for example, the use of namaste is increasingly popular as well. A Christian should not say or do anything that originates from a different religion without first
examining its meaning and origin... the word itself literally means 'I bow to you'; culturally, it has come to mean, 'I bow to the god in you,' and more fully, 'the god in me bows to the god in you.' The saying of namaste is incompatible with the Christian faith. Human beings are not gods. There is only one God, and He does not share His glory (Isaiah 42:8). Bowing to or showing any sort of respect to any false god is idolatry [Ten Commandments.] Depending on the version of Hinduism, Hindu beliefs and practices are polytheistic [many gods] or pantheistic [all is god] or a mixture of both. Namaste seems to come from the more pantheistic forms of Hinduism that see everything and everyone as god. Whether you intend actually to communicate the literal meaning of namaste is irreverent. Would you say, 'You are a god; I bow to you' to someone in English? Neither should you say a word that means precisely
that in Hindi, Nepali, or any other language." | image tagged in namaste, hindu, christian, bible, god, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
