HOW IS CHRISTIANITY DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER FAITHS? [1 of 2]
The rest all have a list of demands from their leaders, telling the followers all the WORKS needed to supposedly attain heaven for themselves. Contrary to that, the biblical truth is that there is only one Mediator between man and God who is Jesus Christ. We are able to go straight to Him, avoiding any of man’s rituals, because all the work has already been DONE FOR US. And it costs us nothing except to humble ourselves, admitting we need a savior. In Hebrews, John says, as Christians we have the freedom to go directly to God and do so with boldness, always finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn't that mindblowing!? Even today, when I read that it feels like the words are coming off the pages, just as John seemed to have his mind blown by that realization. John is amazed at the thought that we are actually CHILDREN OF GOD.
Can you believe that--after all the bad things we've done?! | image tagged in christian, bible, faith, god, answers, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT SATAN'S LEVEL OF EVIL? If you've seen our study series, "Spiritual Warfare: The Satanic War on the Christian," you'll know that, in Greek, Scripture's word for Satan's level of evil is "poneros," versus how he could have been depicted as “kakos.” Kakos is just a general evil and could be described in this way:; A kakos person would go in to rob a 7-Eleven and then, when the store is surrounded by the police and there is no way of escape, he would give up and put his gun down. That robber would be considered kakos, or generally bad. But "poneros," which is used for Satan's brand of evil, would result in a quite different end to our scenario. A poneros individual, like Satan, would be in that store with his gun, but when surrounded by the police with no way out, he is so evil he would shoot and kill as many people as he can before being taken. That's poneros and it’s the word our Bible uses to describe Satan. | image tagged in god, bible, satan, devil, evil, lucifer | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DOES GOD THE FATHER HAVE FLESH & BONES, AS THE MORMONS TEACH? NO! In John 4:24, Jesus told us: "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth.” God the Father is spirit. He has no body. Yet Mormons invariably site Bible passages like the one where God produces the Ten Commandments with the "finger" of God. Of course that is just an anthropomorphism, with God using our language to explain who He is. And what about Psalm 91:4, which says, "God will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge."; Does that mean God is a giant space-chicken?! It’s not meant literally, just as God isn’t a huge writing finger. People often use anthropomorphisms. One time my wife said something that really would have scared and freaked me out, if she meant it literally. When our daughter Rebecca was a little crumb-snatcher, just a tiny baby, my wife bundled her in a blanket. I heard her say she wrapped Rebecca up like a burrito. I thought she was going to eat her!! But it was just a phrase women use, and seems like a torture technique to me, but moms like it. So there’s a failed attempt to prove God has a body?! It's not even logical. Besides, I’ll believe Jesus. It’s just another example of how Mormonism rips Bible verses out of their context to support false teachings. | image tagged in god, jesus, mormon, body, spirit, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY IS THERE EVIL & SUFFERING IN THE WORLD? That has to be the one universal question we all have in life. Making matters worse, some think that becoming a Christian means we’ll never again experience hardships. Even though the Bible clearly teaches otherwise, many, including Christians, just can’t see a reason why a Wise and Loving God would ever allow difficulties to come their way. Therefore, this study, “The Sovereignty of God,” in our "Character of God" series (free online), takes a look at the multitude of wise & loving reasons God allows difficulties to come into the lives of His people. God is not being some sort of cosmic terrorist, trying to torture us, when He allows troubles to come our way. No! God loves each & every Child of His so He has a wise and loving purpose for everything we go through in life, including our pain. Once we realize this, we are finally in a position to soar above any & all problems that ever come our way. And isn’t that what we pray for? | image tagged in pain, suffering, evil, god, bible, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
