From this smattering of their beliefs, you’ll see that the answer is, NO: They deny the immortality of the soul, the eternality of hell, and the finality of the atoning work of Jesus on the cross. They claim Jesus' atoning work finished in 1844, our sins will ultimately be placed on Satan, we become unconscious at death (to be resurrected later), our own works are required to get us to heaven, the wicked will be annihilated, and, like Jehovah's Witnesses (an offshoot of SDA), they claim Jesus is Michael the
archangel. They also claim Ellen G White’s “visions” were from God. So, they added her words to their corrupted version of the Bible. Here are some of her “visions”: Jesus was not the oldest son of the VIRGIN Mary, we supposedly CANNOT be assured of salvation, Jesus did not finish His atoning work on the cross, Jesus was not God, some races of today’s people come from sexual relations between man and animals, the Tower of Babel came before the flood, and God gave the angels gold cards to get in and out of heaven [because He's apparently able to number the hairs on all our heads, but can’t keep track of His angels.] Ellen G White was a known plagiarist with up to 90% of some writings copied; all while she professed that her writings came from God. But, of course, God does not plagiarize. Does that sound like biblical Christianity? No. And it’s not just missing the Bible’s mark in a couple areas. It's a multitude of their beliefs. We’ve just touched on a few and anyone who does the homework on SDA will conclude that (like Jehovah’s Witnesses)

[3 of 4] Unfortunately, most following the Word of Faith movement don't realize it is basically the practice of Hinduism. It's not just similar; the core beliefs are the same. Word of Faith has taken Hindu teachings, slapped Christianese on them, and used the false teachings to defraud folks in the Christian Church. The Hindu bill of goods these Word of Faith guys (and gals) are selling, goes something like this: You can get anything you want if you have enough belief, speak the right words, use the force of faith, send them money to get trinkets, and repeat phrases over and over. That's Hinduism! Hindus are taught to use the "God force" with mantras (repetitive chanting) to create their own reality. The rest all have a list of demands from their leaders, telling the followers all the WORKS needed to supposedly attain heaven for themselves. Contrary to that, the biblical truth is that there is only one Mediator between man and God who is Jesus Christ. We are able to go straight to Him, avoiding any of man’s rituals, because all the work has already been DONE FOR US. And it costs us nothing except to humble ourselves, admitting we need a savior. In Hebrews, John says, as Christians we have the freedom to go directly to God and do so with boldness, always finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn't that mindblowing!? Even today, when I read that it feels like the words are coming off the pages, just as John seemed to have his mind blown by that realization. John is amazed at the thought that we are actually CHILDREN OF GOD.
