LORE BC I'M BORED(WARNINGS: HEAVY TIES TO RELIGION, MOSTLY CHRISTIANITY AND SATANISM); IN THE BEGINNING, THE ANGELS AND THE DEMONS WERE CONSIDERED DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF THE SAME SPECIES. NEITHER WERE THOUGHT OF AS COMPLETELY EVIL OR COMPLETELY GOOD. UNTIL THE DEMONS STARTED ACTING OUT, BETRAYING THE HIGHEST ANGELS AND COMMITTING HORRIBLE SINS LEFT AND RIGHT. THE ANGELS DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. THEY CAST ALL THE DEMONS INTO THE WORLD BELOW EARTH, BINDING THEM ETERNALLY TO HELL. EVERY DEMON WAS FATALLY WOUNDED, BUT SINCE THEY COULD NEVER DIE, THIS DIDN'T AFFECT THEM TOO MUCH, JUST STOPPED THEIR HEART FROM BEATING AS THEY FELL FROM THE SKIES INTO THE FREE BELOW. ONE DEMON, THE ONLY ONE WHO HADN'T TAKEN PART IN THE ACTIONS OF THE OTHER DEMONS, STOOD BEFORE THE HIGHEST ANGELS, BEGGING FOR HIS KIND TO BE FORGIVEN. THEY SCOFFED AND TRIED TO CAST HIM DOWN AS WELL, BUT HE STOOD AGAINST THEIR ATTACKS AND KILLED THE GUARDIAN OF THE SKIES, THE MOST POWERFUL ANGEL. HE WASN'T GOING TO LET THEM LOCK HIM AWAY SO EASILY. AND AT THAT MOMENT, A NEW GUARDIAN OF THE SKIES WAS BROUGHT INTO EXISTENCE, SENDING THE LAST DEMON ABOVE TO BURN. AS FURTHER PUNISHMENT, ALL DEMONS WERE STRIPPED OF THEIR WINGS AND ABILITY TO FLY. THE LAST DEMON TO FALL NATURALLY BECAME THEIR LEADER, AND RULED FOR CENTURIES AS THEY FOUGHT IN SEVERAL GREAT WARS WITH THE ANGELS. OVER TIME, THE DEMONS LEARNED TO LIVE WITH THEIR DAMNATION AND MANY TRAVELED TO THE EARTH TO DRAG POOR MORTAL SOULS BACK WITH THEM. FOR A COUPLE OF HUNDRED YEARS, NOTHING INTERESTING HAPPENS. THE ANGELS ARE LIVING THEIR BEST LIVES AND THE DEMONS ARE JUST SURVIVING. UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS.
