WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [3 of 5]
To know we're living in the last days, other signs the Bible gives us are the push for a one-world-government, -religion, and -economy, with the accompanying big-brother society, persecution of God's people across the whole planet, figures like the Antichrist and False Prophet rising, the technology developed to control the buying and selling across our entire world, and some Mark-of-the-Beast system to identify people through something put on their right hand and forehead. Again, God is not going to tell us the day or hour because we'd probably goof off
until the time comes; however, He is telling us when it's close, not so we can prepare for horrible times, but to encourage us by knowing the time is near when we get to see Jesus! If we love Him, aren't we longing to see Him? God knows we are longing to be with Christ, so all these prophecies are His way of saying, "Hey, Jesus will be there to rescue you soon!" Why would we run from that? I want to see Him, say thank you, and hopefully give Him a big hug. And I want to have something I've done for Him to lay at His feet. I can't wait to be part of Jesus' Millennial Kingdom! I also want to see and be a part of the New Heavens and Earth. Why wouldn't
we want to hear all the great Bible prophecy, which tells us the time is close
(again, without letting us know the specific day and hour)? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [2 of 5] Another sign the Bible gives that we’re living in the last days, is that the Church will go into apostasy. For those of us looking at Bible prophecy, I think sometimes we focus on the number of earthquakes rising, wars, and rumors of war; but I want to say, "Hey, don't just look on the outside of these Church walls." If we want to know we're in the last days, the Bible tells us to look inside at our own camp. Two thousand years ago, Paul wrote to Timothy about how the Church will know when we are living those last days. What he wrote must've blown Timothy's mind. Paul basically said, "Listen, we won’t know the day or hour but imagine this: Christians will still be attending Church services but all they will get from the pulpit will be fluffy stuff and stories made up.” Paul tells Timothy the last days will involve the Church gathering around themselves teachers who will just tickle their ears ("knetho" in Greek, which means
only "pleasant things"). He says people will turn aside from the truth
and only listen to myths or stories made up ("mythois" in Greek). During the last days, Paul is saying we'll see this mindset happen in the Church. It won't just be out in the world with all that wickedness, wars, earthquakes, famines, and pestilence; Paul says the Church will only be giving us pleasant topics and stories made up. Hey, it's a good thing we see no signs of that, right? Wrong! It's everywhere today! Regularly these days we get calls from here in the US, Canada, South America, Europe, and as far as Australia, always with the same legitimate complaint: "I can't find a healthy Church!" or "I can't find someone who will preach the Bible." Sometimes they'll add, "Now I'm the weird one for asking my pastor to preach the other third of the Bible (prophecy) he's been leaving out." And with many supposedly-Christian Churches, they don't even give the other two thirds. All their people hear is, "Hey, we're going to help you become a better you," or "Let's talk about how to be financially successful," or "Let's build up your self esteem.” But my Bible says we need to esteem others more than ourselves. We are to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and
follow Christ every day. Oops! Today’s congregations gather fluff preachers
around them, which is a major sign we're living in the last days! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [1 of 5] The Bible contains 2500 prophecies, of which about 2000 have already come true. Just as there were 300 Bible prophecies successfully predicting Christ’s First Coming to earth, there are another 300 telling us about Jesus’ soon Second Coming. However, I don't care how nifty you are with a calculator, or deciphering the constellations, the Bible lets us know that no one will know the day, nor the hour, even though we are given signs to know when the time is close. Let me give you a quick look at some of those prophecies, so you can judge whether they are lining up now: Israel will return to the land, become a nation again, become a united nation again in one day, become a powerful military, their currency will go back to the shekel
(happened in 1980), they will become a source of world conflict, and they will blossom as a rose in the desert (it used to be barren, lifeless land but now they are the breadbasket of the Middle East). With the source of world conflict, I think it's funny that people wonder how we can know when the time of Jesus' return is close. Well, just turn on your TV, right? What is on the news so many nights? It's little, bitty, teeny, tiny Israel as a source of conflict for the whole world. That's Bible prophecy! Here are more predictions from the Bible: Israel will rebuild the temple, which they are ready for and want to do that right now. The world will see an increase in travel, knowledge, unrest, earthquakes, famines, pestilence, war, strange events in
the sky, global catastrophes, a false Christ, false teachers, and increased
wickedness. Hey, it's a good thing we see none of those signs today, right?
Wrong! They all either happened or are being fulfilled today! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY SHOULD WE STUDY BIBLE PROPHECY? Christians want God to bless them, but it seems few are willing to earn it by doing what God asks, which is studying Bible prophecy. God promises a three-fold blessing for those who read, hear, and take Bible prophecy to heart. Yet, many Christians refuse to study it and miss out on God’s wonderful blessing. Most have no experience with Bible prophecy because their pastors refuse to preach that third of the Bible containing prophecy. Our message, "Why Should I Study Bible Prophecy," helps you do as God asks in this area, which will remind you we are going to heaven where we will meet the King of kings, then go through the Millennial Kingdom with Jesus, and after that, the New Heaven and Earth. Are you sick and tired of focusing on nothing but your
problems and this wicked world system? Then get back to studying
Bible prophecy and be blessed beyond measure! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, god, heaven, end times, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

SHOULD YOU BE BLESSED BY YOUR PASTOR TEACHING BIBLE PROPHECY? The Bible tells us we will know we're getting close to the last days when people in the Church will not put up with sound doctrine (biblical teachings). Instead, to suit their own desires, they will hire and listen to those who give them only myths (stories made up) and whatever else they deem pleasant to hear. I just described 90% of the American Church. And this is the reason Churches, pastors, Bible study leaders, and other teachers will not preach on Bible prophecy. The irony is they're fulfilling Bible prophecy in a bad way, yet they don't know it because they refuse to study the very thing that warns them against what they are doing. As a shepherd in the Church myself, the questions I have for pastors are these: How can you be a faithful shepherd if you skip nearly a third of the Bible (prophecy)? Are you saying it is not a blessing to the sheep when God tells us it is? Are you smarter and know more than God? Since you profess to love your sheep, why keep them from
God's blessing? Is that showing genuine love and concern
for them? Besides, as a shepherd, we're supposed to teach
the flock the whole council of God—not just some of it. | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, eternity, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
