DOES GOD THE FATHER HAVE FLESH & BONES, AS THE MORMONS TEACH? NO! In John 4:24, Jesus told us: "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth.” God the Father is spirit. He has no body. Yet Mormons invariably site Bible passages like the one where God produces the Ten Commandments with the "finger" of God. Of course that is just an anthropomorphism, with God using our language to explain who He is. And what about Psalm 91:4, which says, "God will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge." Does that mean God is a giant space-chicken?! It’s not meant literally, just as God isn’t a huge writing finger. People often use anthropomorphisms. One time my wife said something that really would have scared and freaked me out if she meant it literally: When our daughter Rebecca was a little crumb-snatcher, just a tiny baby, my wife bundled her in a blanket. I heard her say she wrapped Rebecca up like a burrito. So, I thought she was going to eat our little one!! But, of course, it was just a phrase women use, though it seems like a torture technique to me. Still, moms like it. All attempts to prove God has a body, fail. It's not even logical. Besides, I’ll believe Jesus. He’s always right. The lie of God having a supposed
physical body is just another example of how Mormonism rips
Bible verses out of their context to support false teachings. | image tagged in bible, god, jesus, christian, mormon, cult | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN ABOUT "WORLD RELIGIONS, CULTS & THE OCCULT?" [1 or 3] WORLD RELIGIONS: There is a lot of confusion in the world about religion and what the right path is. Whether it's Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Catholicism, Mormonism, etc., there must be an absolute path to take because it’s a fact that all religion’s beliefs are diametrically opposed to each other. They cannot lead to the same outcome. Is it one God or many gods? Are all the names equating to the same spirit? Or is it just a mixed bag of confusion? Since God is not the author of confusion, this series makes the answer absolutely clear by unraveling the truth
behind each faith and answering the hard questions. | image tagged in christian, islam, catholic, mormon, judaism, religion | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY DO NON-BIBLICAL FAITHS THAT WERE STARTED BY MAN KEEP CHANGING THEIR BELIEFS AND PRACTICES? For example, Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses continue to change their beliefs and practices as the culture changes, just as they’ve done for a long time. When caught and put against the wall for racist false teachings, both suddenly received "new light," or "new revelation,” which they always claim as being from God. How convenient is that? It's the ultimate cover for their lies. They need only say, "God gave us new information.” But they're just making it up as they go. When caught in a lie, rather than admit they messed up, they just claim another "message from God." The great news for biblical Christians is that this demonstrates the ultimate security we have with God's Word in the Bible; i.e., once saved we
can’t lose it. Scripture works for all time. We are saved forever. God never changes. And the Bible doesn’t twist or bend with the winds of cultural change. That includes God's assurance that His commands lead only to good for our entire lives. There is powerful security in that! It’s so simple for Christians: If we just stick with God’s Word in the Bible, we'll have the best possible life prior to heaven. Of course, it won't be a perfect life because we are still sinners and we will be persecuted for our Christianity. And I'm not trying to be like self-help ministries that mostly focus on “you learning to be a better you.” But we don't have to wonder how it will go for us like those who depend solely on themselves. If we just strive to do what God says, he'll take care of us. And we know God won't
change tomorrow or next week by presenting us with the latest
“New New” Testament. That’s powerful security for Christians! | image tagged in catholic, jehovah's witness, muslim, adventist, mormon, scientology | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

CAN WE BECOME GODS, AS MORMONISM CLAIMS?
Satan was the first to tell humans, specifically Eve, that she "could be like God." In Mormonism you can supposedly become a god if you volunteer enough of your time to the organization, as well as give them enough money. But that’s not even logical, let alone biblical. There can't be more than one God because, by definition, there's only one God. That's just pure logic. And even if there could be more than one God, who made the first god? That is called the "Cosmological Argument," or the "Argument of Beginnings." It's the very first verse of the Bible: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Breaking that down; in the beginning God created all time, space & matter. He created the beginning of time, the heavens (space) & the earth (matter). That first verse of the
entire Scripture tells us about the existence of the one true God. Being self-existent, God is in the realm of eternity. God created a beginning of the time we live in. And there will be an end to our time. So we now live in our own realm of time given to us by God. God is above and beyond our time so He can see the beginning and end of time, all at the same time. That's what makes Him the One and Only Supreme Being. But people will ask, “Who made God?" The problem with that question is that it’s based in our time. By definition, a Supreme Being is above and beyond all that. And what makes Him supreme is He's not dependent upon anyone for His existence. That's why He is Supreme. With that said, Mormonism still claims we can become a god. But we can't become a god because God had no beginning. I’m pretty sure we all had birth days. When Moses asked God: Who do I say that you are? God simply replied: "I Am Who I Am." He doesn't
have a beginning because beginnings are a time-based question and
He's above and beyond all that. That's why He is Supreme. | image tagged in mormon, lds, bible, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
