WHAT ABOUT THE DESERT ISLAND DWELLER WHO HAS NEVER HEARD OF HIM? [1 of 2] Let’s say this island guy has not seen another person or even a bird or insect. The skeptic’s question is this: “Do you mean to tell me God is going to send that poor guy to hell?” You may know the answer if you’ve already watched our seminary-style study called Discipleship 101 and Discipleship 102, a disciple’s education for every Christian, because the last directive from Jesus as He left earth was: “Go and make discipled learners of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19) Every saved soul is a blessing, but each accomplished disciple is equipped to bring multitudes with him
or her to heaven. Romans 1 and 2 answer our question about
the isolated island person, and it’s called the “three C’s.”
I’ll give the first C here and the other two in part two. God’s Creation is apparent to every human, so lack of a Bible is no excuse. Romans 1 says we have “the light of creation.” Just step outside to see a bird, a flea, or a bee; that is intelligent design—just as your car, watch, and phone are—which implies a designer. The unfathomable complexity of the stars and planets testify that they did not happen by chance. All of creation drives us to know that there is a God. Romans 1:20 tells us: God’s invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world.
God can be seen and heard by observing and hearing
His creation. So, everyone is accountable—no human

But that’s the importance of the Bible’s genealogies, like the three men in Genesis 10 who together live through the first 2157 years of mankind. How could that be? Well, we know people lived longer life spans during the first couple centuries, and that’s not just spiritualizing the biblical text: We even have proof scientifically, as we detail with our study called In the Days of Noah, which is part of

![DAY 22: SHOULD SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS CALL OUT THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH FOR ALTERING GOD’S WORD? About that, here’s a great quote: “The Seventh Day Adventist Clear Word Bible is perhaps one of the most deceptive Bibles of recent times. For 150 years, Seventh-day Adventists have called the Roman Catholic Church ‘the beast’ for allegedly omitting two verses of the law against images. Yet [SDA] has now made hundreds of revisions in their Bible.” It’s true that Catholic leadership hacked the second of God’s Ten Commandments out of the Bible—because it commands that we are not to make idols. Why would they do that? Well, they push idol worship with sales of saint and Mary figurines–from which they
rake in massive amounts of their followers’ money. Then, as part of the leadership’s whole rigamarole, those same followers are told to bow down to, pray to, and even worship the figurines. But here’s the problem they created for themselves: Taking out that second commandment left only nine, so—one lie leading to another—Catholic leadership had to change God’s Word again by splitting God’s tenth commandment into two, getting them back to a full ten. While I agree with SDA that it is wrong for Catholicism to do that, the SDA organization has made hundreds of their own textual changes, insertions, and deletions to God’s Word. In the US South they have two words for the type of person
who speaks against a wrong that they themselves
are also committing: He or she is said to be
