DO JEWISH PEOPLE THINK CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THREE GODS? [2 of 2] Besides Jesus professing that “the Lord our God is one,” and Genesis using the plural-word “Elohim” for God, we have many ways to explain how the Trinity can be both three and one. For example, I’m a husband, father, and pastor—no wonder I'm tired—but which one is not me? Being made in God’s image, you and I have a spirit, soul, and body, but which is not us? We can also mathematically represent the truth of Trinity:; Jewish people believe the New Testament’s depiction of the Trinity means the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit must be represented as 1 + 1 + 1 = 3, but the Bible tells us it is 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. So, even with the mathematics of God, three can be one. Yes, God presents himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but He is still one guy, one Elohim saying, “Let us make man in our image.” Then there is the classic example: When water is left alone, it presents as a liquid, but when frozen water becomes a solid, and when heated
it turns into a vapor. Which one of those is not water? | image tagged in trinity, god, jesus, holy spirit, christian, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS A MESSIANIC JEW? These are simply people of Jewish descent who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, the subject is a bit confusing because Scripture says those who become saved through Jesus are no longer Jews or Gentiles (non-Jews)—we’re all Christians. Still, society uses terms like "Messianic Jew" or "Completed Jew" to reference how a saved person has a Jewish background. I don't have much of a problem with those terms, if they are well explained to avoid confusion in the Christian Church. If not, some might think there are two biblically separate types of Christians:; those born-again—but also of Jewish decent—can sound like they are somehow different from other Christians. And for all followers of Judaism, we know that God is not done with the miraculous wonders He will perform through His Jewish people. Still, just like everyone else, Jews will not reach heaven unless they become born-again through Christ. Again, when we use terms like “messianic” or “completed” for Jews who get saved, it almost sounds like
there is division between non-Jewish Christians and Jews who have become
Christians. But to God, we are all one in Christ, so there is no difference.
We must be careful of what we believe and say on this subject, so we
are sure to give the conversation a balanced understanding. | image tagged in messiah, god, jesus, jewish, christian, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO JEWISH PEOPLE THINK CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THREE GODS? [1 of 2] When witnessing about Christ to those in the religion of Judaism, you may hear them say Christians believe in three Gods, but Jews have only one. Jewish people choke on the idea of the Trinity, though a quick explanation shows it is not an issue. In fact, even Jesus taught that there is only one God: Christ quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 from the Jewish (and Christian) Old Testament when questioned by a scribe who asked Him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”; Jesus answered, “The most important one is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.’ ” So, Christ certainly supported there being only one God. And we can reciprocate with this challenging question for a Jewish person: Who is Scripture talking about in your—and Christian’s—Old Testament book of Genesis (1:26), when God says, "Let us make man in our image." Genesis uses the Hebrew word “Elohim,” which means a plural
number. Hmmm, there's some food for thought, and that's in the first chapter
of the Jewish Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament). | image tagged in jewish, christian, trinity, god, jesus, holy spirit | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DID GOD CREATE SOME DEFAULT LAW THAT GRANTS
ENTRANCE INTO HEAVEN FOR “RELATIVELY GOOD” SINNERS? As a pastor who travels frequently throughout America and also to many nations around the world, (for conferences, interviews, and other public speaking), I talk with a diverse population. One common, misinformed, and alarming misconception is presented to me by people everywhere, and it is because they do not investigate this monumentally important claim that has them clinging to a completely false hope: Men and women all around the planet rely on their ticket to a pleasant eternity being their status a “relatively good person,” or “fairly good person." But that doesn't make you a Christian. Contrary to
that tragic delusion, Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father [God in heaven] except through Me.” We have all broken God's law, whether it's lying, stealing, lusting, practicing idolatry by loving things or people more than God, breaking other commandments, or all of the above. Just one of those sins against our Creator is the constant self-focused idol worship of our modern society. According to God’s Word in the Bible, anything can become our idol, including money, possessions, television, other entertainment, a hobby, another person, or even
ourselves. When we get preoccupied with something to point where
that obsession is more important than our relationship with God,
it is idol worship. We’ve all done that, besides the fact that we
have all lied—claim you haven’t and you just lied again. | image tagged in works, christian, sin, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS THE BUDDHIST RELIGION OF JAINISM? [2 of 2] Jesus talked about the Jewish Pharisees forcing their followers to perform prescribed works as the way to supposedly reach a pleasant afterlife, the same sort of works that today’s Jainism (an offshoot of Buddhism) holds their people to. What did Christ say about people who force followers to perform manmade tasks as the supposed ticket to heaven? He called the Pharisees what they were: fools and hypocrites. Here is Jesus addressing the Pharisees in Matthew 23:15 and 27:"Woe to you, blind guides! You go over
land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one,
you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are…; You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity.” The Pharisee’s rules where false teachings, useless burdens put on people. Completely contrary to what the Pharisees prescribed, Jesus had the people follow Him, promising this at the end of Matthew 11: "Come to Me…you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” But even today, because people refuse to accept Christ’s free gift of salvation, those caught in false religions like Jainism continue to suffer under Pharisee-type rules, not to mention risking an eternity away from God, ending
up in hell, if they don’t accept Jesus before their death. | image tagged in jainism, buddhism, hindu, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
