WHY STUDY THE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES OF VARIOUS WORLD RELIGIONS, CULTS, AND THE OCCULT? Like passing along propaganda news, people easily become copycat Christians, just repeating unbiblical claims—supposed truths about Jesus Christ. That is, until they gain real biblical conviction. I want you to know what is true, and why it is true. During the many years of this study that have involved countless hours of research, we have been comparing false-faith systems—greedy, works-based practices invented by men and women—to the truth of Christ’s free biblical Christianity. Why? So that the information will equip you with an accurate understanding of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age,
Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness, Seventh Day Adventists, Christian Science, Scientology, the Charismatic Movement, Witchcraft, and Satanism. Only the truth will help you be a strong, knowledgeable, and confident advocate for God's truth that is Jesus Christ. The Bible’s 1 John 5:19 teaches us that the entire planet lies in the power of the evil one; therefore, the world's false religious philosophies are all the devil’s doing. How can I make such a bold statement? Because the Bible tells us Satan is not only a murderer, but a liar and the father of all lies. Every idea that veers from scriptural truth has a Demonic influence. Satan’s servants are false
teachers disguising themselves as friendly givers of truth
and doers of righteousness—but it’s all just lies. | image tagged in religion, cult, occult, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

ARE TODAY’S CHRISTIANS BEING FED MEAT? The vast majority of modern Churches are not giving people the meat of God's Word. Instead, they are dishing out tranquilizing "happy stuff," doctrine that tickles the congregation’s ears and makes them feel good. Though people in the pews may think they're becoming students of the Word, they are not. The Church trend in these last days is to force and keep Church goers in the baby stage. As they’ve been taught to, many Christians have even been dutifully attending Church on Wednesdays and Sundays for years, thinking they are getting nutritious food, but they
are not; it’s mostly all fluff, so they are really kept in spiritual diapers, which means they are being set up to fall for most all the lies that come along from the mouths of false teachers. The Bible’s Acts 2 tells us that even the early Church had to deal with Satan’s efforts to cloud the truth through his false teachers, and Scripture also warns that those efforts will have been greatly ramped up in these past, last decades.
The Bible lets us know that false, demonic teachings from deceitful spirits—
workers of inequity—will be all around us. And today, that is
exactly what we see! We are explicitly told that these
latter times will involve a great falling away from the faith, so
don’t be one of those who remains in spiritual diapers. | image tagged in pastor, preacher, church, bible, god, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DOES RIGHT AND WRONG REALLY EXIST? As a former follower
of the New Age movement, I had not believed in absolute truth; instead, I accepted the false teaching of "moral relativism" that says no one can tell me about truth because I get to make up my own truth for me—deciding right from wrong for myself—whatever is true for me is right for me, and what is true for you is right for you. Back then I felt everyone must accept my decisions, back off, and not tell me what to do, since I get to decide everything in and about my life. But I was never challenged with the simply fact that there is right and wrong, something we instinctively know from birth, and it is further engrained in us by family and society. Romans 2 talks about the universal moral law given to each of us by our Creator. An easy way to demonstrate and witness to a New Ager who is hooked on relativism is this simple analogy: Ask a person to
give you their wallet or purse so you can demonstrate relativism. Then grab it and literally walk away. And I mean walk. Don't turn around. Just keep walking away, because 100% of the time they will say, "Hey, stop!” You: “Why?” Them: "You've got my wallet.” You: "So?” Them: "Give it back!” You: "No.” They'll say something like, “That's not right." And you say, "Hey, in my world I just determined it was right.” Them: "But you can't do that." You: “What gives you the right to say it isn't right?" They will slowly figure out you are right. The Bible says it is inherently wrong to steal or murder, and God wrote His law in our hearts, so Paul said that leaves us no excuse. We all inherently know right from wrong, so we don’t decide it for ourselves. Hopefully, our wallet-snatching victim will make the next logical conclusion, which is this: "Wait a second. That's a universal moral law. Where did
that come from? It must be from the universal-moral-law giver.
And I've broken that law—SO I NEED A SAVIOR.” | image tagged in relativism, morals, god, law, jesus, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF THE “WORD OF FAITH” MOVEMENT? [2 of 3] One founder was William Seymour, a student of Charles Parham, and the creator of the Azusa Street Mission in 1906. Those present at the time described absolute chaos, and everyone wanting to preach—most did. Was any speakers vetted to see if they were even Christians? Did anyone ask for a testimony to see if those
teaching the crowd were even saved through Jesus? No, and no. Even some local witches and sorcerers preached. At least Seymour realized they were occult people and stopped them from preaching, but those occult followers continued to attend and practice their weird worship—of who? Also strange for a Church service were reports of kissing between unmarried
persons. One of those who did not preach was Seymour, who just
sat with his head in a crate; from time to time he shouted, "Repent!” | image tagged in word of faith, prosperity preacher, bible, god, jesus, scam | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS MEDITATION OKAY? [4 of 4] What if we just call it "contemplative prayer,” as practiced in some Christian Churches today? You may think Hindu meditation is able to entice the secular world, but can’t snooker Christians. Unfortunately, it's been in the Church for years! In the Christian Church, Hindu evangelizing would not have been able to get away with its real name: “Eastern transcendental meditation.” Instead, they Christianized it, which is the devil’s same old method of repackaging false teachings (lies). This time they did so using Christianese to dupe Christians into thinking the idea came from God. Meditation in the Church was disguised as "contemplative prayer.” Though it says, “prayer,”
it is not from God. Still, that lie has created one of the fastest growing
practices in the America Church today—plain old pagan meditation. And anyone who pushes meditation far enough, will have a spiritual encounter, but it won’t be the Spirit of God. The Bible instructs us to pray WITH our minds. We do contemplate (thinking deeply) while having a real conversation with God, but that’s not what is meant by the term, "contemplative prayer.” It is nothing like Christian prayer to God. "Contemplative prayer has slowly increased in practice and popularity among the emerging church movement—a movement which embraces many unscriptural ideas and practices.” Eastern meditation has been labeled as contemplative prayer to infiltrate Churches by claiming you will have a genuine encounter with God. Again, you eventually will connect with something, but it will not be the Spirit of God. Instead, it will be a
demonic spirit that you do not want to welcome into your life. | image tagged in meditation, yoga, hindu, bible, god, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
