IS OUR BIBLE THE ONLY WRITTEN REVELATION FROM GOD? YES!
God has given us NO other written revelation, so the Bible is our sole source of final authority for faith and practice. Unfortunately, that's not what is followed by many professing Christians, even though God made it clear that the Bible is all He gave us. And we should celebrate that! Before getting saved, I was deep into New Age, which was extremely frustrating because nothing about it ever satisfied! It was intellectually stimulating and sounded like people were giving answers, but it would just never pan out. With New Age, a person gets to pick from a ton of doctrines. I would spend three months going down one route, which would end up not working, and then try another. I really studied and practiced hard, but always with disappointing results: answers seemed almost in my grasp; still, nothing ended up supplying that needed gratification. It was completely different the day I
called upon the name of Jesus Christ and really meant it from my heart. It was like, "BOOM! WOO HOO! And I thought right away, "Hey, this is real! Something is different about this." I was so relieved when I got saved, because my life had been extremely frustrating. No longer did I have to bounce from one of man's ideas to the next. And that's the irony: we should relish the fact that we came into the truth, thanking God for us no longer having to wonder what's true about life, about anything that’s happened in the past, or what will be in our future. The answers are all in the Bible, so we don't have to wonder if it's the one real book from God. The Bible is it! But these days we seem to run from God's Word. In fact, I have a problem with a current statistic about the state of professing Christians in the American Church today: while they claim Christianity, even in the Church over 50% no longer believe in the absolute authority of the Bible. Close to the same number think it has errors. That's just crazy, especially when God says there is no other written
revelation besides the Old and New Testaments. As you’d expect from the One
real Supreme Being, He has wrapped His Word up in a nice package for us,
so we need only to get in there and enjoy the mind of God! | image tagged in bible, god, jesus, christian, word, christ | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [5 of 5]
One the most significant evidences for the divine origin of the Bible is prophecy—2500 prophecies—2000 already fulfilled. It is statistically impossible for the Bible's detailed prophecies to have been fulfilled by chance, (as opposed to man compiling his guesses in a book, adding Christianese, and giving us today's false, world religion and cults). The Bible has been thoroughly verified, and explicitly warns against adding to or taking away from what God has given. The Bible repeatedly tells us to stick to the Bible and not add another word. Here are a couple examples: "You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2),” and "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 12:32).” With all due respect, all false faiths outside the Bible completely go against what God just commanded there. They have constantly
added man's teachings and rewritten, chopped, and spliced God’s Word. Here is more from the Bible: "Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield...Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar (Proverbs 30:5-6).” If we will only stick to God's Word in the Bible, it will be a shield to protect us from man's harmful lies and false teachers ripping us off. Here's more from Revelation 22:18-19: "I testify to everyone who hears the words this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which were written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of book this prophecy, God will take away his part in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are written in this book.” So God's message is this: Don't add to or take away from Scripture; leave it alone because I, God, have put my stamp of approval on it 2500 times. Isn't that good enough? Why do we have to keep going somewhere else? Just like
the Old Testament stories of the people groups constantly straying and
coming back, only to stray again, even today we are looking for some
other ideas, theories, or prophets to guide us. Why can't we just
get in the Bible and enjoy it straight from the mind of God!? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, god, future, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [4 of 5]
All this Bible prophecy taking place in front of our eyes is better than Christmas! With all due respect, it's even better than a wedding; although, my marriage is strong so don't misconstrue what I'm saying. My point is this: In a healthy-engagement scenario, you would think the closer you get to the wedding day, the more exciting it gets, right? Now I know it's also hectic, and it can get stressful before Jesus comes back too, but the overall feeling is one of joyous anticipation, right? Without giving away the day or hour, and using Bible prophecy, God is letting us know what will happen in advance, so we can be sure His book came from Him
—period. It’s like this: when you were growing up, did your mom tell
you things more than once, or even more than ten times? In fact, how many times did she say, "I told you a million times..." and you were maybe thinking, "Yeah mom, you probably did because, man, here we go again..." Well, it’s the same with God: throughout the Bible, with precise predictions, (2000 of which have come true already), 2500 times He told us, “THIS BOOK CAME FROM ME!" So, why do we want to listen to anything else! God is probably thinking, "What more do I have to give you people?" But again, with all due respect to the so-called shepherds in our Church today, if they keep Bible prophecy out of their messages, it's no wonder 50% of their congregation doubts the Bible. If we'd only listen to the Bible, it would save us from a
whole lot of trouble, which includes those not saved being left
behind to go through the Seven Year Tribulation! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [3 of 5]
To know we're living in the last days, other signs the Bible gives us are the push for a one-world-government, -religion, and -economy, with the accompanying big-brother society, persecution of God's people across the whole planet, figures like the Antichrist and False Prophet rising, the technology developed to control the buying and selling across our entire world, and some Mark-of-the-Beast system to identify people through something put on their right hand and forehead. Again, God is not going to tell us the day or hour because we'd probably goof off
until the time comes; however, He is telling us when it's close, not so we can prepare for horrible times, but to encourage us by knowing the time is near when we get to see Jesus! If we love Him, aren't we longing to see Him? God knows we are longing to be with Christ, so all these prophecies are His way of saying, "Hey, Jesus will be there to rescue you soon!" Why would we run from that? I want to see Him, say thank you, and hopefully give Him a big hug. And I want to have something I've done for Him to lay at His feet. I can't wait to be part of Jesus' Millennial Kingdom! I also want to see and be a part of the New Heavens and Earth. Why wouldn't
we want to hear all the great Bible prophecy, which tells us the time is close
(again, without letting us know the specific day and hour)? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WANT TO KNOW THE FUTURE? [2 of 5] Another sign the Bible gives that we’re living in the last days, is that the Church will go into apostasy. For those of us looking at Bible prophecy, I think sometimes we focus on the number of earthquakes rising, wars, and rumors of war; but I want to say, "Hey, don't just look on the outside of these Church walls." If we want to know we're in the last days, the Bible tells us to look inside at our own camp. Two thousand years ago, Paul wrote to Timothy about how the Church will know when we are living those last days. What he wrote must've blown Timothy's mind. Paul basically said, "Listen, we won’t know the day or hour but imagine this: Christians will still be attending Church services but all they will get from the pulpit will be fluffy stuff and stories made up.” Paul tells Timothy the last days will involve the Church gathering around themselves teachers who will just tickle their ears ("knetho" in Greek, which means
only "pleasant things"). He says people will turn aside from the truth
and only listen to myths or stories made up ("mythois" in Greek). During the last days, Paul is saying we'll see this mindset happen in the Church. It won't just be out in the world with all that wickedness, wars, earthquakes, famines, and pestilence; Paul says the Church will only be giving us pleasant topics and stories made up. Hey, it's a good thing we see no signs of that, right? Wrong! It's everywhere today! Regularly these days we get calls from here in the US, Canada, South America, Europe, and as far as Australia, always with the same legitimate complaint: "I can't find a healthy Church!" or "I can't find someone who will preach the Bible." Sometimes they'll add, "Now I'm the weird one for asking my pastor to preach the other third of the Bible (prophecy) he's been leaving out." And with many supposedly-Christian Churches, they don't even give the other two thirds. All their people hear is, "Hey, we're going to help you become a better you," or "Let's talk about how to be financially successful," or "Let's build up your self esteem.” But my Bible says we need to esteem others more than ourselves. We are to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and
follow Christ every day. Oops! Today’s congregations gather fluff preachers
around them, which is a major sign we're living in the last days! | image tagged in bible, prophecy, future, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
