Boxten (Dandy's Dungeon AU) lore (sorry if it's hard to read I made it as big as I could) (mod note: nah its fine we can zoom in | 📦 Boxten — “The Clockwork Comforter” Medieval Dandy’s Dungeon AU 🕰 Appearance Boxten stays true to his cube-shaped, shy design, but now he feels like he was crafted by a royal artisan: His wooden body has faint runic carvings Tiny winding gears peek out from seams A brass key on his back slowly turns when his emotions rise His eyes flicker like lanterns when he’s embarrassed Wears a simple, soft cloth vest (to “look less boxy,” as Poppy tells him) His joints click gently when he moves — a soothing sound to friends, even if he hates drawing attention 😳 Personality Boxten is: Extremely anxious Very apologetic Soft-spoken Easily overwhelmed Startled by loud noises Surprisingly knowledgeable about calming techniques (because he needs them himself) He always tries to be helpful but second-guesses every decision. If someone even looks at him suddenly, he makes the “mechanical squeak-of-fear.” But he has the biggest heart, and that’s why everyone protects him. 🎶 Special Trait: “Music Box Magic” This is where his AU identity shines. Boxten’s chest contains a magical clockwork music box enchanted centuries ago. His medieval look includes: A light blue captain’s coat with wave patterns A seafoam scarf fluttering behind him A small compass always strapped to his wrist His eyes sparkling like ocean water Swim bandages wrapped around his arms and legs A trident-shaped charm hanging from his neck A single boot always missing because “it floated off again, whoops!” He looks like someone who could be swept away by the wind, but is somehow always balanced. 😃 Personality Finn is: Energetic Endlessly curious A bit scatterbrained Constantly telling sea stories Friendly with absolutely everyone Impossible to upset The opposite of Shrimpo in every way He believes every problem has a positive side.
