A guy who beats a woman is a monster, but a woman who beats a man is also a monster. It is never acceptable to beat anyone except in EXTREME cases of self-defense. Both physical and verbal abuse are horrible things regardless of gender, and anyone who does it should be ashamed. In fact, there is probably a special spot in Hell for those people.
