Today's music is just computers. Back then, you had lead vocals, backing vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums/percussion, keyboard, piano, synthesizers, clavinet, and organ at most. Sometimes you get unorthodox instruments like clarinets, vibrophones, sitars, violins, trumpets, and saxophones (unless you're playing funk). With older music, you get all-natural, human-played instrumentation and vocals. With today's pop and dubstep/electronica, it's all autotune and computers. On another note, most artists wrote their own music. Today, you push a button on a machine and a melody comes out. It's just not as good
