Thanks. It came from a story that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (creator of Sherlock Holmes) sent five letters saying "We are discovered, flee immediately" to some friends and apparently one did. It seems to be a bit of an urban myth but stems from a theory that all people over 40 have a secret they would rather not have revealed.
