ROFL!! Love it! True story - when I was enlisting,.. I walked out of the Army recruiters office, and the Marine recruiter was outside smoking in the office next door. He asked me what I wanted to do in the military,.. and I told him I wanted to be Special Forces. He told me not to waste my time with the Army,... that Marines come out of bootcamp the equilivant of an Army Ranger. =) I never forgot that guy!!! He was leaning up against the wall like a shady character in a NYC ally,.. talking low,... eyes squinted,.. like he was gonna sell me some stolen watches!!!! Loved that guy!! I went to many schools with Marines,.. SERE,.. Airborne school,.. HALO,.. and had a few Marine trainers attend SOT school with me as well! The class leader (NCOIC student) in jump school was a Marine,... I was fresh out of bootcamp,... and when he started marching us newbies we were fkg LOST!!!! ROFL! Good times!
