I agree with you,... the users speak for themselves,... political / religious memes have gotten mega views and inspired a lot of comments. Political themes are most often based on current events anyway,.. so I am not sure what their problem would be.

This meme that we are commenting on,... was front page,.. and got removed and put back into "Submitted" limbo. That's crappy. WHen users have already voted it up to page one,.. why would it get removed? For a troll user who may complain or be jealous? Certainly the MODS would investigate 1st,... I would hope. MODS should be very unbiased,... not letting their own political leanings effect their job. I'm not saying this happened,.. but they should be in case a troll user wnats an image removed. Kinda pisses me off this one was removed bro... NOTHING NSFW about it or derrogatory.

Well, I'd say that about 40% of my memes are political. Lately my memes haven't been doing so well. I went from an average of about 8-10 upvotes per meme to about 2-4 upvotes per meme. And the views went down quite a bit lately, also. Oh well.

Yeah, I keep expecting my political memes to get sent back to "submitted" and when they do I'm not as surprised. I'm more surprised when they don't.

Maybe it's the fact we submit a lot of political memes and they get to the top few pages often that they keep getting sent back. I've noticed random political memes by users who don't submit many of those type of memes on the front page, but never getting deleted.

Yeah,.. but users should be able to determine that with votes. If there is a front page meme,.. users put them there, not the creator. That kind of irks me.. because there is never an explanation. I had an explanation from a MOD once that though the MEME was designed to draw a lot of comments. . so it was taken off the page. Thats far from reality. When we make a meme and submit,.. we certainly enjoy if it becomes popular,.. but we have no way of projecting that or the amount of comments it will generate. If that was the case,.. & we could predict the future,.. we would not waste our time with memes that get 6 - 10 votes,... less sometimes. ( We would only submit front page material) =)
I am not sure how that works,... I would hope if someone complained,... the MODS would see through it if it was already front page. F**king trolls,... I hope they do not control the memes with that much power over getting something removed.

That explanation sounds pathetic. It was created to generate comments? So what? I thought that was the point! I thought this site was just for that...make memes that you think will generate upvotes and dialogue! If that's not the case and we're all here just to submit memes and nothing else, then what the hell is the point system for?? I'm here to create memes that I hope will get attention so I can share my ideas and humor, and in some instances, seriousness.

I think that excuse is a bunch of bull! If that's the case then get rid of the point system on this site and see how long that lasts. No one (or very few) would frequent this site!

This is good!! I bet the word "blow" was enough for the mods to not feature it. But still,.. if that was a question,.. all they had to do was mark it NSFW. I don't think mods like political memes. I have some that sit in submission limbo for a day or more. Sometimes I delete,.. remake on a different template,.. and it gets featured. Good meme bro!!!
