How #RaisetheWage sounds to those who actually work

I work and it doesnt sound like that to me. The minimum wage earners have no health care and are eligible for food stamps so our taxes are supporting that drain on the system. Personally i think the billionaire owners of the companies need to start taking care of our economy by starting to pay thier workers a living wage. The reason the economy is tanking is because the wealthy have all the money and the middle class has no disposable income.

Middle class? Minimum wage earners are not the middle class, so I don't see how they enter the minimum wage discussion.

or living in the wrong state, or not inheriting a high enough IQ, or having disabilities or illnesses (not of their doing) that impede their work but don't qualify them for disability...
